NIDUS-UK is holding a promotional meeting for nidotherapy on Tuesday 20th February, 2018 at the Palace of Westminster. The meeting will be held in the Jubilee Committee Room between 5.30 and 7.30pm and three MP’s to date (Norman Lamb, Robert Jenrick and Karen Buck) have expressed a willingness to attend. Questions about nidotherapy are also being asked by those who are attending the Newark Town Hall meeting on 14th November and the nidotherapy workshop on 16th February, and these will include concerns about local mental health services.
Could those who would like to attend the meeting at the Palace of Westminster please get in touch with any of the Trustees or via petertyrer2@yahoo.co.uk.
There are now (as of 14th January) only a very small number of places left for this meeting, at which refreshments are also provided. Karen Buck will be hosting the event. Lord Nic Rea will also be attending, as will several experts from forensic services who are promoting environmental management in forensic settings. There will also be information about the second edition of the book: Nidotherapy: Harmonising the Environment with the Patient, shortly to be published by Cambridge University Press (Oct 2018) in conjunction with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
