Nidotherapy Training Workshop 2018

Becoming a Nidotherapist

The 13th Annual Nidotherapy Workshop will concentrate on training nidotherapists for work in the Newark-on-Trent area (under supervision in the first instance).  The course will be held on Friday 16th February for one full intensive day (not the three days as mentioned previously).  Accommodation is available for those who are travelling from elsewhere as the training is of relevance to all and both Thursday and Friday night are available for booking, but only up to the end of December as we cannot make a firm booking after this date. The cost will be low, with many being able to come for no charge if able to follow up the training with additional input later. For international visitors the charge is reduced to between £100 and £200 depending on accommodation requirements. Please get in touch with Peter or Helen Tyrer (petertyrer2@yahoo.co.uk or h.tyrer@imperial.ac.uk) if you would like to book in as space is limited. Those who come are also invited to the meeting at the Palace of Westminster on 20th February to meet MP’s and supporters in London.

Venue: Deincourt Hotel, Newark-on-Trent

Date:  16th February, 2018

Anyone interested should contact Peter (petertyrer2@yahoo.co.uk) or Helen Tyrer (h.tyrer@imperial.ac.uk) to receive preliminary information about the planned training. We would expect to interview people for these positions separately before the workshop.

There will also be an Open Evening to support the development of nidotherapy on Tuesday 14th November at Newark Town Hall between 6.30 and 8.30 pm. Admission is free and there will be presentations and discussions about promoting nidotherapy in Newark.  These will be developed further at the workshop in February 2018.
